I have an idea and a story about a man with his rifle. After the war his whole world changed. His family went missing so now every day he takes his gun with him and go to a place where he hope to see his family again. I´still thinking more about the back story but I need to start blocking something next.

Started to block things out. Still a lot to do and change but I´m kind of happy with the overall shapes.

More refining the actual design. I still need to get figure out some aspects but so far so go.

Design is almost there. Next step will be the detailing and after that medium poly version because my plan is to use Unreal Engine 4 for rendering.

I´ve been doing a lot of detailing work like adding various types of damage and welding seams. I also started to make the medium poly model so I can hopefully start texturing soon. I´m still not sure about the sight so I have to iterate more.

Medium poly version done and unwrapped. I also baked normal maps to see how everything works. Next step is texturing and I still need to figure out that sight/scope. Then I can hopefully finally start focusing on the environment.

Texturing done for the stock and barrel pieces. I ended up separating those into two pieces so it was easier to work with them. I will iterate more with textures and colors but next step is the scope.

Scope and magazine is also done now and some tweaks to textures too. Finally I can start to focus on the environment.

I started to built the Unreal Engine scene. Most of the time went to building the lighting and I still need to work with that, a lot. I also started to make different shaders and materials and one example is the generic dirt material that I used for floor and walls. I will replace that with better material when I get more textures done. I have a huge list of things that I need to do so I hope the time will not run out.
