Hello, friends. He wanted to take part in this competition in order to evaluate his skills. I have been modeling for a long time, but never once did not participate and did not compete with anyone.
Before you take part, you had to figure out what to present to the public. AK-47, M16, UZI, Desert Eagle and other popular guns decided not to do, simply because a lot of them who did and no one will be surprised. Once I came across an article called - American tuning Kalashnikov. I really liked its futuristic design and I decided that this is exactly what I have to present to You.
It all starts with a modelling high-poly model.
Next made a low-poly model of the assault rifle.

Then there was exactly the same process, but with cases. First high-poly and then low-poly model.

After modeling and UV unwrapping, I began to texture. I threw the model in the Substance Painter and went.

After the case, I did the same with AKX.

Further, I quickly created a box with cartridges and did the same manipulations. Then I placed all the objects on the stage - the case, the box with the cartridges and the AKX itself. It remains to create the fabric and duplicate a couple of cases.

The final result. I adjusted the lighting, made a trial render and adjusted the color correction. Also in the course of the work, a couple of jambs, which I quickly corrected, appeared.
