Hello All!
For this contest wanted to incorporate a narrative into the design and render of the piece.
I felt inspired by the idea of the classic American Gunslinger. I wanted to evoke an implied narrative with small details between the gun and the scene. To give an idea of the tone I'm going for I put together the image below. This will likely serve as my main composition.
Moving forward I will be working on flushing out the design for the actual hand cannon (the one in the render is merely a placeholder).

Hey all,
So I've split my time this week between revamping the composition and fleshing out the design of the cannon. The Work in Progress sketch was done pencil and paper and not finalized at the moment. As such I figured I'd include the revised composition for the final piece. Let me know what you think!

Hey y'all!
Been a while since I've posted an update so here comes a big info dump!
I've spent a fair bit of time working on the hand cannon mode below are some early shape WIP shots.
Recently I've completed the model itself and am currently finishing up the materials. The completed model is below as well:
(Applied materials are some Keyshot basics just to help visualize the style and will be replaced in the final version)
