Hi everyone. just start my W.I.P thread here , my Idea is making a realistic ( hopefully ) PDW gun with a little tweak of the near futuristic flavor .

I felt much stuck and no direction due to lack of the firearm knowledge in general , ( to me a bullet equals a unit of ammunition , then what is this cartridge thing : ) ,  gun is just a piece of machinery that used to shoot bullet , plus I remember some gun models from counter-strike 1.5&6 form way back then , that was pretty much all my knowledge base   ) .

so I have to go through some firearm crashing course on youtube .

 

here is my gun reference gathering. most are popular SMG models like P90 , MP5K , KRISS vector etc.

I didn't manage to get the magazine, back receiver, stock fit my initial concept sketch. Ill do a qucik scene set up in blender .
