Hi All,
Been so many times I couldn't join the previous competitions because of a sudden job or change of schedule.. This time I certainly want to join, even though it's only a couple of weeks. Seen some amazing guns already and a really cool chicken. Will dedicate coming days on finalizing the concept and with the design, start with the environment and prop modeling and hope to come with a result that looks as cool as some of the other works.
Good Luck to All.
I do have a question to ask Hum 3D about the size of the gun, because it isn't specified anywhere. Are there any limitations? Should it be maximum of a couple of meters or could it be as big as you like (elephant, truck or container ship size), as long at is fits in the story?
Hi Rene, you can make any weapon you like. Would be great to see on the competition an extraordinary idea - so you can make war elephant 🙂
The concept is that mankind developed robot soldiers that can fight the wars for humans without having to have the need to sacrifice human lives. These are war machines that have their own artificial intelligence and are equipped for battle. The focus is that it is still a 'Gun' (canon or laser) that can move itself, independently and fast and be able to track and target enemies.
Of course people are not only using these robots on a battleground to fight against soldiers or defending themselves. These machines turn out to be excellent weapons to overtake cities and grab power. I want to portray a city where this robot is used to claim it, people have fled and remains there track down resistance.

Hi Serhii,
Thanks for your swift reply,... mine has been less swift.. 😉
Been working hard on concept development and progressing in modelling. Well it's not going to be a war elephant, but want it to be a robot gun with an animal-like appearance. Have to decide later on in the materialization how or whether there is going to be something natural in it or that it is purely artificial like the initial idea is.
