It's 23 days left, and I'm only starting... but it's only more interesting to complete.

Here some basic forms, still not sure about all connections.

Update #1

Adding little update.

I decided that the rover would have a jet engine in order to overcome small obstacles. He will allow him to rise a little above the ground.
But, still it will cover most of the distance on tracks.
Next I will hand over a cunning mount, which will allow it to achieve greater mobility and maneuverability.

Still trying to figure out about head shape - thinking about something Wall-e like.

Spend some time with parenting and now I can easily pose it with a lot of control.

For now I'll let it as it is, because I don't know will I have enough time to make retopology - wireframe is messy after a lot of booleans.

Going to make environment.

Did not do much - was a little busy. I continue to work on the environment.

Made a set of mountains from which I will make a composition of an alien environment.

I think that it will be mt final composition. Maybe I'll make some changes later, but for now, it's ok.  Environment models are low poly, after baking normal map it shoud look better ... I hope )

Any way going to the most fun part - texturing, and of course I'll use Substance Painter.

Update# 9

Finished texturing. The rock materiail is pretty simple just mixed few layers and use as instance.  One more test render from Iray. I think here I'll stop. The only one moment, I don't like too blurry ground texture in front of the image, next time need to count textile density :/ I'll try to export ground texture in 8k resolution, maybe it will help, if not I'll have to remake ground uv's.
