Retro Race Day

So got the body and some details worked on a bit.

I remember that racing name. It will be nice to see those cars as 3d models and rendered in some great track scenes.

That is awesome you remember that name! That was my grandfather!

Anyways, here is some progress on the vehicle. Got some detail work done and some texture work. May need some more done to it though. But quick render!

T H A T is f'n cool. The render is awfully dark, though.

I was a big race fan 'back in the day'. I'm almost 50 and my father had me hooked on muscle cars and racing early on. While other kids were sneaking out their dad's Penthouse magazines (me, too 🙂 ) I was getting into the Hot Rod, Car Craft magazines or anything else that dealt with fast car and racing.

I know. Its just a test render to make sure everything comes up right. Its not even near the final render haha!

And yeah, my grandfather was a big time drag racer, and even ran his own garage. (Black Eagle) Taught me nearly everything I know about cars.

Wow, I would have been in heaven. I would certainly have spent my adult life (and young adult life) racing instead of other things.
