Front end detail Saturday. I've also started modeling some of the inside of the shell.

Unwrapping and texturing Sunday! Found some really cool references of rusty cars and I've been working on replicating the look!

My environment has been the focus for the past couple evenings, fleshing out the base with some quixel megascans to build upon. All my reference material is on tropical rainforests as I am aiming at that setting.

Messing around with the lighting a little this evening and I've made some changes to the textures. I've Been working on figuring out what direction I want to take the lighting and mood in general. I'm leaning towards lighting the scene from behind and having it come through the canopy above, I think that will have a cool impact overall. Not sure if I yet want a warm or cool feel to it. It's a minor update but I wanted to share my thoughts so far!

Spent yesterday sculpting/texturing/rigging an ant for the scene, I had forgotten how fun it was to sculpt! I'll have to work on more projects like this ant after I move on. 15mil vertex sculpt down to 25k polygons. I'll be posting an update of the environment in the next few days.

Trying to get as much done as I can right now since this is a really busy month for me. Been working on the environment recently, going to shift my focus now back to the car details.
