Hi there. 

Found some time to start my concept for this years competition. Looking forward to seeing all the concepts pop up.

Here is where It all start...

This time round im building the main body with spline cages rather then a pure poly workflow. Lets see how this goes. Fun so far.

This time round im building the main body with spline cages rather then a pure poly workflow.

I used to model everything with splines. I found it was the easiest way for me to understand where I was going. Eventually I decided it wasn't for me.

Hi Tom, yes see I'm mainly a poly modeller for sure, but with the lines on the car I have decided to change for this one, trying something new to get the curves just right.  Its all fun.

My other method is Poly and Nurms toggle with added turbosmoothing and relax modifiers. Then progress from that.

 

These wheels were a challenge with spline cages but seems to be getting there.

More progress. Spoiler and bonnet vents in. Inter-cooler and details inside too. Next will be windows and mirrors. Then on to the bigger picture.
