Hi All / Mods,

is it OK to post images here of the WI project? The rules mention other sites like artstation etc. i dont have accounts on these platforms. Just wanted to check that's OK?

Some great WIP stuff going on here already! Good luck all.

Hi All,

so here is my personal design brief. I will be creating an update of the fantastic 1980 Citroen Karin concept vehicle, set in a futuristic city scape.

I will start with some photoshop redesigns to establish the direction of the design. The CAD will be built in SolidWorks using Power Surfacing where needed.

At this point, I intent to design opening closures. Engine config, unsure ATM. I'll create all of my environment assets in SW also.

Render will be in Keyshot 9.

Below are my WIP images of design cues and assets.

Where does the time go!?

Outer skin created. Time to close, solid, create shuts and glass, design wheels etc...

Wheels added, doors added to, seats modelled (I dont think this will make a good Uber!) dash modelled....

I'm running some test renders in Keyshot now, lets see how it looks!
