This is an early blockout which is heavily inspired by the AS Val. My goal however is to modify this original design using Bladerunner concepts and personal ideas.

The grip resembles the one of a VSS Vintorez. It will be playing a big role in building the story behind my concept.

I really love the overall look of the AS Val, so I tried to remain the basic shapes and adding in small details that add to the Bladerunner design. Some of these design elements include the hammer and the middle part where the triggers are going to be located.

I added some smaller details like the double triggers and lights. These will later help me to further include the Bladerunner concept into my model. I also started to experiment with some rough material block outs. This way I can get a feeling for different material compositions and choose the one I like the most.
