Hi everyone.

So my idea is to make a NES Zapper.

But to make the ''story'' the enviroment will be the gun laying on a typical circuit of a city carpet (or at least it was typical in spain). Connected to the NES, and a bag of chips with some laying in the carpet as well, and a can of soda or a juice, something like that.

All the scene iluminated with the light by one of those big old TVs. Maybe it will need some more ilumination, so a shy light outside will be ok.

The camera will be looking at the ground

I hope it came up more like in my mind, and less like the concept that I've made.

I've uploaded a concept and some photos for reference

Here is my start. I'm taking my time so it came up looking good. Also there is plenty of time until the deadline.

Funny thing, I never had a NES, my first console was a Sega MegaDriveII xD

So I started with the gun, wich doesn't have any difficult, is an easy model. The only thing that is not my best is the handle, wich I made like 5 times until I got a good one. (Changed the material to see the glossy finish better)

Next, the boolean to make the cut out of the handle, and a NES itself

Here is the grip, wich was a pain in the you know what I mean. And them the lowpoly version so I can make a texture for it with the highpoly. I was thinking in not doing a lowpoly version, but looking at all the mess with the bevels and booleans, I'll prefer to do it this way.

And so the NES.

Next, the connector with the cable coming to the pistol, and the carpet and more stuff.

Little by little adding more stuff to the scene

I'll make the render and textures in substence. I think that the ilumination will be good with the TV on making some light, and maybe a shy light from the back if everything is too dark.

Also I was thinking to add the box of the game Duck Hunt with the european version art. But.. the european version is really ugly, so I'll add the american

And next the american version

3D Weapon Challenge - Old DaysEvery model done, I though of making a hotwheels car os something like that, but I'm a little bit tired of the modelling part.
Let's start the texturing part.

A fast render to update the process. Looking good for me so far. Tomorrow I'll finish the ilumination and camera effects, and done!

I call it finished!

I've seen some things that could be improve, but it looks good enough for me and I want to finish it, so I can be in other projects with a clear mind.

Hope to get a good position in the competition!
