Hey everyone,

dusting off the cobwebs for this one. Going to make a custom 57 Chevy BelAir (4door).

Haven't decided on the final look yet, either going to be like my mates, or a custom cop car.

Still fleshing out the lowpoly mesh. Not sure if I'll have time to finish.

Fleshed out the lowpoly mesh. Turbosmooth using smoothing groups to separate some main detail areas.

Next step is to optimise the smoothed mesh, chamfer some edges, and start cutting in details.

I'm making this to eventually 3D print, so my usual panel gaps etc. have changed... These are what I'm experimenting with for 3D print rez vs a decent 'real size' look:
